As multi-disciplinary open access publisher The Saint-Petersburg Theological Academy Press encourage authors to submit their research work to publish in the respective journals of The Saint-Petersburg Theological Academy Press, and mainly in the journal Khristianskoye Chteniye [Christian Reading]. The main goal of The Saint-Petersburg Theological Academy Press is to provide a medium for the prompt publication of scientific papers which provide insights into current research.

Article Submission Checklist for the journal Khristianskoye Chteniye

As part of the submission process, authors are requested to check the following:

  1. The article should be in Microsoft Word document file format (doc.).
  2. Article should contain complete details of corresponding author, E-mail and Full postal address
  3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; Times New Roman; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  4. Cover Letter stating the work belongs to corresponding author and other co-authors.

 

Article Preparation Guidelines

The article must be prepared using single spacing, 12 point font, Times New Roman. All manuscripts must contain the essential elements needed to convey your manuscript, for example, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials, Results, Conclusions, Artwork and Tables with Captions.

1. Types of Articles
We are committed to publish quality articles and requests authors to submit any articles of following classification.

1.1 Research Articles
Articles with new findings/innovations in the topic of research. The article should be within 5000 words excluding references. It should contain Article title, Author affiliations, Corresponding author details, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and References.

1.2 Review Articles
Articles which summarizes the existing research in the topic. The article should be within 5000 words excluding references. It should contain Article title, Author affiliations, Corresponding author details, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials, Discussion, Conclusion and References.

1.3 Short Communication
Short communications are the one that should present new important findings in a brief form. They should be no longer than 2000 words including Article title, Author affiliations, Corresponding author details, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Discussion and References.

1.5 Editorials
Editorial articles are written on any theme relevant to the Journal within 1200 Words excluding References. These articles contain Title, Author affiliations, Corresponding author details, description and References.

2. Cover letter
All submissions must include a cover letter in a separate word/pdf file that includes:
a) Declaration from the corresponding author on the behalf of all co-author(s).
b) An explanation of suitability of the article in this journal in the view of journal’s aims and scope.

3. Article Structure
The article structure may vary with the type of article. You may please refer to section 1.

Paper Title: Concise and informative using bold, 14 points, Times New Roman font. Avoid abbreviations and formulae where possible.

Author's Complete Details: Kindly Provide complete details for each author including Email ID.

Abstract: The Article should contain an abstract. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. The abstract should be self-contained and citation-free and should not exceed 300 words.

Keywords: Authors are requested to provide 4-10 keywords related to the work. These keywords will be used for indexing purpose.

Introduction: This section should state the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

Materials: This part should contain explanations to reproduce reported data. It can be divided into subsections if several plots are described.


Results and Discussion: This section should explore the significance of the results of the work. All the results should be provided along with appropriate discussion.

Conclusions: This section should clearly explain the main conclusions of the work, highlighting its importance and relevance.

Acknowledgments: All acknowledgments should be included in a separate section before the references and may include list of peoples who contributed to the work in the manuscript but not listed in the author list, supporting grants. The name of funding agencies should be provided if the funding is available for the research.

References : journal Khristianskoye Chteniye follows style where all the references are noted in the text within square brackets like this:

Figures and Tables: During the submission of an article, authors are supposed to include all figures and tables at appropriate place in the manuscript. All figures should be cited in the paper in a consecutive order. Figures should be of high quality and clear. Every figure must have descriptive title. Tables should be cited consecutively in the text. Every table must have a descriptive title and if numerical measurements are given, the units should be included in the column heading.
